Ian Webster

Ian Webster is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and academia. Currently serving as Group Engineering Manager at Ampcontrol since 2011 and as an Adjunct Professor of Practice at the University of Newcastle since January 2021, Ian also held the role of Conjoint Senior Fellow at the same institution from 2002 to 2020. Previously, Ian worked as Innovation Manager at Ampcontrol from 2006 to 2010 and as Engineering Manager at RPC Technologies Pty Ltd from 2001 to 2006. Ian holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Newcastle, awarded in 1990.
