Joeri Poelmann

Joeri Poelmann has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joeri began their career at P&O Nedlloyd, where they underwent two traineeships as part of the Maritime Officer Training program, serving as a deck- and engineroom officer. Joeri then worked as an Account Manager at Holland Nautic Apeldoorn B.V. and as a Sales Manager at HISWA Multimedia BV, where they were responsible for commercial activities.

Poelmann later joined Wärtsilä Netherlands as a Business Sales Manager, responsible for propulsion products in Northern Europe, Russia, and the Middle East. Joeri then moved to Pon Power as an Account Manager Offshore Marine Prime, handling new Caterpillar Marine products in the offshore segment.

In 2014, Poelmann joined Ampelmann Operations, where they held various roles. Joeri initially served as a Business Development Manager for Africa and later became the Manager of Sales & Business Development for Europe and Africa. Joeri then took on the role of Director for Ampelmann Operations in the Asia Pacific Region, based in Singapore. In this role, they were commercially responsible for the rental and sales of motion compensated solutions in the offshore industry.

Currently, Poelmann serves as the Global Director of Business Development for Ampelmann Operations, overseeing the rental and sales of motion compensated solutions in the renewable and oil and gas sectors. Ampelmann's portfolio includes motion compensated gangways and cargo solutions designed to conquer high sea states.

Joeri Poelmann began their education by attending Stedelijk Gymnasium Nijmegen from 1993 to 2001, where they completed their Grammar School (Gymnasium) education. Afterward, from 2001 to 2006, Joeri enrolled at the Maritime Institute "Willem Barentsz" to pursue their Bachelor's degree in Maritime Operations (BSc.) with a focus on becoming a Maritime Officer.
