Smeeta Gupta

Smeeta Gupta has over 30 years of work experience in the field of architectural design verification and engineering. Smeeta currently holds the position of Director of Engineering at Ampere, where their responsibilities include architectural design verification. Prior to their current role, they served as a Senior Principal Engineer and Manager at Ampere. Before joining Ampere, they worked at AppliedMicro as a Principal Engineer in architectural design verification. Smeeta also has experience working at Veloce, AMD, Artile Micro Systems, ClearWater Networking, Infineon Technologies, Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, and Ball Aerospace, where they held various roles related to design and verification engineering. Their expertise includes developing simulators, writing functional models, and conducting verification tests for microprocessors and chipsets.

Smeeta Gupta completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado Boulder from 1976 to 1980, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Smeeta then pursued graduate work in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Santa Clara University from 1983 to 1987.
