Alex Brogger

Alex Brogger has a wide range of experience starting from 2005 to present. Alex worked as a Summer Workshop Teacher at DigiPen Institute of Technology, where they gave lectures on various computer science subjects and taught students how to use the ProjectFUN editor to build 2D video games. Alex worked as a Software Developer in Test Contractor and Software Development Engineer in Test II at Microsoft, where they developed tools to perform bulk testing on resources and worked on Xbox social/entertainment applications. Alex later became Manager, Quality at Amazon, where they managed groups owning quality assurance for key components of the Kindle Fire Tablets and Fire Phone. Alex also joined Usermind as a QA Manager, working on the quality of their system and leading the test infrastructure, tooling, and automation. At Usermind, they grew the team to accelerate the testing efforts and the company. Alex later became the Director of Engineering Operations at Usermind, where they led the DevOps, QA, and Tools teams, responsible for driving improvements in the software development efficiency, monitoring, defect detection, and incident response processes. Currently, they are the Head of Security at Amperity.

Alex Brogger attended the DigiPen Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2007 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Real-Time Interactive Simulation.
