Mike Sheward is a seasoned security and IT professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as the Head of Security and IT at Xeal since January 2023, Mike is also the Founder of Secure Being LLC, a company dedicated to educating consumers about information security. Previous positions include Head of Security at Particle, Chief Information Security Officer at Amperity, and Senior Director of Information Security at Accolade, Inc. Mike's background encompasses technical expertise and leadership in security operations, incident response, and compliance within diverse industries, including IoT, marketing automation, and healthcare. Additionally, Mike has contributed to education as an instructor in the Information Systems Security Certificate Program at the University of Washington.
