Jeremiah Shirk

Jeremiah Shirk currently serves as the Director of Infrastructure & Security at Amperon since November 2023. Prior to this role, Jeremiah was the VP of Engineering at Koxa from April 2022 to September 2023, focusing on cloud infrastructure and security while also fulfilling the responsibilities of CISO. Jeremiah's previous experience includes notable positions at Venmo as Engineering Manager and DevOps/Systems Engineer from November 2013 to April 2022, and Manager of Web Systems Engineering and Integration at Kansas State University from November 2006 to November 2013. Additional roles include Contract Chef Infrastructure Developer at Monkeybin Studios and Sr. Research Engineer at CA (Computer Associates). Jeremiah began a career in security engineering at Sprint as a Security Design Engineer, having obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Kansas State University between 1994 and 1999.
