Stefano Patassa

Stefano Patassa serves as the Head of Electrical Systems at Ampersand E-Mobility since January 2022. Prior to this role, Stefano held the position of Head of R&D at Alma Automotive s.r.l. from November 2019 to January 2022, where responsibilities included designing HV SiC based LLC DC/DC systems for MotoE and creating battery packs and BMS for hybrid racing applications. Previous experience includes working as an Electronics Engineer at Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains, contributing to the design and operation of Battery Management Systems for F1 Power Units from 2014 to 2016. Starting in the early 2000s, Stefano founded and led SPLabs as President/CEO and managed the electronics division of UniBo Motorsport. Stefano's academic credentials include a PhD in Mechanics and Advanced Engineering Sciences from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, as well as a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering from related institutions.
