Charles Copper possesses extensive experience in advanced product development and engineering leadership, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at FCI since October 2012, Charles has previously held positions including Director of Engineering at TE Connectivity and Principal at Tyco Inc/Electronics Division. Key achievements encompass advancements in automotive aluminum wire termination technology, power utility load break bushing, and wideband antennas. Charles has also piloted a global design reuse initiative and contributed significantly to the development of innovative connectors and power applications. With a solid educational background including a PhD in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia, Charles Copper is recognized as a technical expert and leader in the field.
