Vishal Venugopal

Vishal Venugopal currently serves as the Head of Engineering at Amphora since April 2024, following the acquisition of Curl, where Vishal held the same title from July 2020 to March 2024, focusing on a commodity trading platform utilizing advanced technologies such as Spring Boot microservices and AI models. Prior to Curl, Vishal was the Director of Software Engineering at RazorThink, with a focus on platform engineering for the banking sector, and also served as Chief Architect at Mindtree. At Big Data BizViz, Vishal held the position of VP of Platform Development, leading teams in Big Data, AI, and Machine Learning initiatives. Vishal co-founded BDI Systems and Technologies, significantly contributing to its growth and development. Earlier experience includes roles at SAP BusinessObjects, Ness Technologies, Infinite Computer Solutions, and Software Associates, with a strong foundation in software development and project management. Vishal’s education includes an EPGP Diploma in Management Information Systems from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, and a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Karnataka State Open University.
