John Fleming

John Fleming has extensive work experience in economic development and planning. John worked as the Director of Planning & Development at Ampla Health from 2015 to the present. In this role, they managed various departments and implemented a patient transportation pilot program. Prior to that, they worked for Yuba County as the Economic Development Coordinator from 1999 to 2015, where they coordinated business attraction and retention efforts and developed strategic plans. John also served as the Economic Development Coordinator at the City of Corona from 1996 to 1999 and as an Economic/Redevelopment Associate at the City of Colton Redevelopment Agency from 1992 to 1996.

John Fleming obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Pacific Union College from 1982 to 1986. John then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Management from the University of Redlands from 1997 to 1999. In 2009, John obtained the Economic Development Certification (CEcD) from the International Economic Development Council.
