Jim Hamby

Jim Hamby has over 30 years of work experience, starting with their role as Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Pfizer from 1988 to 2005. After that, they joined Ash Stevens, Inc. as the Director of Business Development from 2006 to 2009, before being promoted to Vice President of Business Development until 2017. During this time, they also founded James M Hamby Consulting, LLC, where they served as an Independent Consultant from 2017 to 2019. In 2017, Jim also worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Spartan Innovations. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President at Amplicore Inc., where they previously served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 2019 to 2021.

Jim Hamby earned a Ph.D degree in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago, attending from 1983 to 1988.
