Ming X. Tan

Ming X. Tan is an accomplished entrepreneur and expert in microfluidic engineering, serving as the Founder and CEO of Wainamics since October 2014, where the focus is on reducing product development risk through expertise in system architecture and high-volume manufacturing. Ming is also an active board member of the Bay Area Microfluidics Network and a co-founder at AmplifiDx, alongside advising roles at Astia, Daybreak Labs, and the Hines Family Foundation. Previous experience includes leadership positions at Bio-Rad Laboratories, Eclipse Sciences, and Zyomyx, contributing significantly to product development and market strategy in the life sciences sector. Ming holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Caltech and a Bachelor of Science from UC Irvine.
