Cleo Barnett is an accomplished arts and event professional with extensive experience in leadership and creative direction. Currently serving as Executive Director, Creative Director, and Deputy Director at Amplifier since June 2016, Cleo previously held the role of Placemaker at Waterfront Auckland from November 2012 to March 2016, where responsibilities included event curation, production, and sponsorship management. Additionally, Cleo co-founded and curated the ALL FRESCO festival from January 2013 to May 2015, overseeing festival curation and production. As the founder and Creative Director of First Thursdays Auckland from August 2009 to May 2013, Cleo established a significant art event in New Zealand. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Art and Public Policy from New York University and a Bachelor of Commerce in International Relations from The University of Auckland, supplemented by a Bachelor of Applied Science in Political Studies and International Business from the same institution.
