Luz Bries

Luz Bries is an experienced educator and instructional coach currently serving as a District Literacy Coach with Amplify since April 2022. With over 20 years of national experience in teaching and training, Luz specializes in English Language Learner instruction, multilingual and multicultural training, Spanish/English biliteracy, and the science of reading. Previous roles include District Instructional Coach for Amplify at LAUSD, President of the training and consultancy firm Lit with Luz, K-5 ELA Coordinator at Marietta City Schools, and various positions within Cobb County School District. Academic qualifications include a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University and a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education from Florida International University.
