Roy Barnewall

Roy Barnewall is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in veterinary sciences and toxicology. Currently serving as the Director of Veterinary Sciences, Nonclinical Toxicology, and Safety Pharmacology at AmplifyBio since May 2021, Roy also holds the position of Director of Veterinary Sciences & Inhalation Technology within the same company. Prior to this, Roy worked at Battelle for over two decades, from April 1999 to May 2021, as a Manager and Research leader. Academically, Roy earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology from the Ohio State University School of Veterinary Biosciences (1993-1999) and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine (1989-1993). Roy also holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Bowling Green State University (1984-1988).
