Tricia Black

Tricia Black is the founder and general partner at Amplifyher Ventures. Tricia has also co-founded Victress Capital, LLC and has served as the VP of advertising sales and national sales & client services at Y2M. In addition, they have also been an angel investor, advisor, and consultant at TBB.

Black started their career in 2001 at Y2M as the VP of national sales & client services. Tricia then moved to Facebook in 2005 as the VP of advertising sales. Black was the first VP of sales at Facebook and was responsible for developing and managing the sales strategy, creating sales/marketing materials, and sourcing/implementing necessary sales support systems. Tricia led the sales team and successfully cultivated Facebook's earliest relationships with Fortune 500 advertising partners.

In 2008, Black left Facebook to become an angel investor, advisor, and consultant at TBB. In 2016, they co-founded Victress Capital, LLC. And in 2018, they founded Amplifyher Ventures.

Tricia Black has a BA in Journalism from the University of Rhode Island.
