Shirley Shapira

Shirley Shapira has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Shirley started their career as a Clinical trials manager at Stryker GI in January 2007 and worked there until February 2009. Shirley then joined MetaCure as a Clinical Trials Director from April 2009 to August 2011. From October 2011 to August 2015, they served as the VP Clinical at Motus GI Holdings, Inc. In 2015, Shirley co-founded Amplio and also worked as a Clinical Research Consultant for various biotech companies from September 2015 to February 2017. Currently, Shirley holds the position of VP Clinical at 270Surgical, a company focused on providing surgeons with advanced vision in the operating room.

Shirley Shapira obtained their B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1995. Shirley then pursued further education at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology where they earned their M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from 1996 to 1998. Continuing their academic journey, they completed their Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2002.
