Nigel Oakley

Nigel Oakley has over 40 years of work experience in the technology industry. Nigel began their career in 1975 as an Engineer/Technician at the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority. In 1978, they moved to the Science and Engineering Research Council (SERC) as a Research and Development Engineer. From 1980 to 1990, they worked at Data General in various roles, including Communications Consultant, Systems Engineer and Post Sales Support Team Leader. From 1990 to 2000, they worked at 3Com in a variety of roles, including Worldwide VP Customer Marketing. From 2000 to 2005, they worked at Openwave (formerly Phone.com) as EMEA Marketing Director. From 2005 to 2010, they worked at Intelliden as VP EMEA and Director. From 2010 to 2011, they worked at IBM as a member of the IOT Tiger Team for Intelliden Products. From 2011 to 2017, they worked at Juniper Networks as Chief Architect Cloud and Automation, EMEA Center of Excellence and Director EMEA Cloud Building Centre of Excellence. Since 2017, they have been with Ampliphae Ltd as Product Marketing and Business Development Director, where they are responsible for identifying market trends and key market opportunities.

Nigel Oakley obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing between 2000 and 2005.
