Andrew Halley

Andrew Halley is an accomplished power engineering professional with extensive experience in consulting and operational roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Regional Manager at Amplitude Consultants Pty Ltd since July 2024, Andrew focuses on providing power engineering consulting services in Tasmania, Victoria, and South Australia. Prior to this role, Andrew held the position of Principal Operations Engineer at TasNetworks from 2013 to July 2024, offering technical support to multiple teams. Andrew also contributed as Panel Convenor for CIGRE Australia from 2015 to 2021, promoting engineering knowledge in power system technical performance. Earlier career achievements include serving as System Performance Manager and Senior System Performance Engineer at Transend Networks and as Team Leader of the Rotating Electrical Machines Team at Hydro Tasmania. Andrew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Power Engineering from the University of Tasmania and a Graduate qualification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
