Software Engineer III at AMPLY Power

Gabriela Zygadlo has been working in the tech industry since 2017. Gabriela began as a Student Research Assistant at Itza Archaeology before becoming an Academic Research Assistant and an Academic Research Assistant Intern. In 2020, they joined Suzy as a Jr. Backend Developer, where they built an SDK for a bot/spam reporting feature using C#, XML, and JSON and refactored existing SDK code to accommodate multiple target frameworks. Gabriela also worked as a Jr. QA Engineer, where they upgraded Integration using parallel run lists, Azure DevOps, and piping to reduce the run time from 6 hours to 1 hour, and maintained the test suite by adding piping for new features, fixing test failures, and implementing new tests with the release of new features. Gabriela also created, automated, and managed metric documentation for the QA team using Excel and Jira API to track productivity, releases, and test failures. In 2022, they joined bp pulse fleet (formerly AMPLY Power) as a Backend Software Engineer II.

Gabriela Zygadlo's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Queens College (2015-2019), a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Queens College (2015-2019), and a Master's degree in Anthropology from Hunter College (2020-2022). Gabriela also attended Townsend Harris High School from 2011-2015, where they studied Humanities/Humanistic Studies.
