Heidi Sickler

Heidi Sickler has worked in the energy, environment and zero-emission vehicle policy sector since 2017. In 2021, they began working as the Director of Policy and Market Development for bp pulse fleet (formerly AMPLY Power). In this role, they lead bp pulse fleet's legislative and regulatory advocacy across the Western region in support of policies that simplify fleets’ transition to electric. From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Bay Area Electric Vehicle Coordinating Council Steering Committee Member at the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and as a California Energy Commission Clean Transportation Program Investment Plan Advisory Committee Member at the California Energy Commission. From 2017 to 2021, they held two positions at the Silicon Valley Leadership Group: Director, Energy, Environment and Zero-Emission Vehicle Policy and Energy and Environment Senior Associate. In this role, they established the Zero-Emission Vehicle and EV infrastructure policy portfolio at the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, elevated its priority ranking to number one for two consecutive years (2020 and 2021) among SVLG’s Energy Committee policy priorities for the legislative session, and successfully advocated for passage of over twenty ZEV and clean energy bills signed into law during California’s 2018 to 2020 legislative sessions.
