Mohammed Simjee

Mohammed Simjee is a Senior Project Manager at bp pulse fleet (formerly AMPLY Power) since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Project Manager at NovaSource Power Services from 2021, where they provided project management support for all C&I special projects, reviewed contract documents, proposals, and as-builts to identify project requirements, created project schedules, coordinated purchases, rentals, and logistics, and supported subcontractor buyout process through development of scopes, bidding process and awards. From 2019 to 2021, they held roles such as Multifamily Project Management Associate, Commercial Project Management SolarCorps Fellow, Project Management Intern, and Outreach and Operations Intern at GRID Alternatives. From 2014 to 2019, they were a Finance and Project Management Consultant at Smart Hydro Power GmbH, where they supported a renewable energy start-up transitioning from R&D to initial commercialization, strategized a 10-year financial forecast to model future cash flow for potential investors, and implemented a project management system. From 2012 to 2014, they served as Director of Finance and Operations at The Way Inn Lodge, where they designed and implemented a multi-year strategic financial plan that outlined a clear path to increasing net income by over 200% per year through better utilization of existing assets. From 2004 to 2012, Mohammed Simjee was employed at BP, where they held roles such as Commercial Performance Analyst, Planning and Performance Analyst, and Trading Control Analyst. Mohammed Simjee received a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Cal State Fullerton, College of Business and Economics in 2004. Prior to that, they attended Sunny Hills High School. In 2021, they obtained an Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies Certificate from Stanford University.
