Liam Betsworth

Liam Betsworth's work experience includes a variety of roles in the technology and clothing industries. Liam began their career as a Research Intern at IBM India Research Lab in 2012. Liam then served as a Webmaster for ACM SIGCHI, CHI 2014 Conference from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, Liam worked as a Research Intern at BBC R&D Lab before co-founding and becoming the Director of Lifesick Clothing LTD, where they worked until 2018. Liam then joined Leadin as a User Experience Designer and later became a Senior User Experience Designer and Developer. Liam also worked as a Research Associate and Research Organiser at Swansea University in 2015. In 2017, Liam worked as a Senior User Experience Developer at Gofore Oy. Liam then joined AMPLYFI in 2018, where they have held roles as Head of User Experience, VP Engineering, and currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer.

Liam Betsworth pursued their education starting in 2008 at Swansea University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science in 2011. Following their undergraduate studies, Liam went on to pursue a higher level of education at the same university. From 2011 to 2015, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree with a specialization in Human Computer Interaction.

In addition to their academic achievements, Liam also obtained certifications to enhance their professional skills. In February 2020, they earned the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Further, in March 2021, they obtained the CMI Level 4 Award in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute.
