Andre van Taak

Andre Van Taak is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and environmental management with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as the Group HSE Audit Manager at Ampol since March 2019, Andre is responsible for developing and implementing the Annual OHSE Internal Audit Plan, providing independent assessments of risk management processes. Previous roles include Senior HSE Consultant at Bridgeport Energy Limited, where improvements in corporate HS policies were a focus, and multiple positions at Maersk Oil from May 2013 to December 2017, including Head of HSE. With a Master's degree in Management of HSE from the University of Southern Queensland and several certifications in occupational health and safety, Andre brings a wealth of expertise to the field.
