Matthew Brescia

Matthew Brescia is a Technical Services Engineer currently working at Ampol since February 2022, specializing in the commissioning and registration of Electric Vehicle Charging stations within the Asset Operations team of Energy Solutions. Previous roles at Ampol include Maintenance Planner and Graduate Electrical Engineer, where Matthew completed rotations across various teams focused on eMobility and decarbonization. Prior to Ampol, Matthew gained experience as a Sales Floor Team Member at Anaconda Group Pty Ltd and as a Factory Floor Worker and Installer at Brescia Kitchens. Additional experience includes an Engineering Internship at JEC Air Conditioning Services and leadership roles during projects at Macquarie University, where Matthew oversaw the electrical wiring subsystem for an elevator project and contributed to the successful construction of a buck-boost converter.
