Phil Brenton

Phil Brenton is an experienced Environmental Engineer with a strong background in environmental compliance and risk management within the petroleum and construction sectors. Currently serving as an Environmental Engineer at Ampol Australia's Lytton Refinery since November 2021, Phil manages environmental compliance, sustainability reporting, and greenhouse gas reporting responsibilities. Previous roles include Senior Environmental Advisor for the Shoalwater Bay Defence Project with Downer, as well as several positions at Ampol, Kent, Calibre, Boskalis, BP, Clipsal, SA Water, and Pasminco Smelting, demonstrating extensive expertise in environmental programs and compliance across various large-scale projects. Phil holds an Engineer’s Degree in Environmental Engineering with a minor in Geological Engineering from RMIT University.
