Robert Shelley

Robert Shelley is a seasoned professional in process safety and environmental management, currently serving as the Group Process Safety, Environment & Regulatory Manager at Ampol Australia since November 2022. Previously, Robert held the position of Principal Process Safety Advisor at Rio Tinto, where the focus was on embedding process safety principles globally. Robert's extensive experience includes serving as the Regional Process Safety Management Manager at Incitec Pivot Limited, leading a team across multiple sites, and several engineering roles at companies such as PM Group, Jacobs, Novartis, and GSK. Robert holds a Bachelor's Degree in Joint Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of the West of Scotland.
