Yang Chen

Yang Chen currently serves as Senior Deployment Manager AU and Manager of EV, Solar, and Battery at Ampol, focusing on energy asset rollouts since May 2024. Previously, Yang held the position of Senior Deployment Manager for Charging at Tesla, achieving significant milestones such as establishing transformer contracts with Schneider and a Direct Metering Agreement for Tesla Superchargers. Prior experience includes a notable tenure at Origin Energy, where Yang advanced from Solar and Energy Efficiency Specialist to National Implementation Manager E-Mobility, leading the development of EV charging solutions and management of embedded network portfolios. Yang began the professional journey at Macquarie Group and the University of Sydney, holding various project management and analytical roles. Educational qualifications include a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Technology Sydney, and a Bachelor's in Engineering from the University of Sydney.
