Michael Schaefer

Michael Schaefer possesses extensive experience in the energy market, currently serving as Manager of Scheduling Process and Projects at Amprion GmbH since September 2009. In addition to this role, Michael has held various positions such as Advisor, Engineer, and Project Manager within the company. At ENTSO-E, since December 2011, Michael has contributed as Convener of the Task Force 'Scheduling Process & Tools', focusing on inter TSO scheduling enhancements, as well as participating in multiple project groups and coordination efforts. Prior to joining Amprion, Michael worked as a Business Application Manager at RWE. Academically, Michael holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business and Enterprise Management from the University of Gloucestershire and a Diplom in Information Science from Wilhelm Büchner Hochschule. Further educational experience includes studies at California State University-Sacramento.
