Patrick Hermanns

Patrick Hermanns is an accomplished professional in the fields of electrical engineering and information technology, currently serving as the Head of Construction Oversight for Grid Projects at Amprion GmbH since September 2021. With prior experience as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Plasma Technology at Ruhr University Bochum, Patrick specialized in data-driven process analysis and optimization across various sectors, including biomedicine and aerospace. Patrick's research contributions include advancements in measurement and control technology of plasma-based processes, having also collaborated as a visiting researcher on data-driven plasma science. With a solid educational foundation, including a Ph.D. from Ruhr University Bochum, Patrick brings extensive knowledge gained through various research and technical roles, including hands-on experience from an electrical engineering technician program at RAG AG.
