Jacob Albers has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several decades. Jacob began their career as a Bookkeeper at Graham's Lighting in 1989 and later worked as an Accountant - Accounts Receivable at Memphis Environmental Services from 1994 to 1995. Jacob then served as an Inventory Manager at Complex Tooling and Molding from 1996 to 1997.
In 1997, Jacob took on the role of Cash Room Supervisor at Barnes & Noble College Bookstore, where they supervised cash activities and prepared deposits.
From 1998 to 1999, Jacob worked as an Accountant - Accounts Payable at Asemco - Best Pallet, where they handled collection calls and managed vendor payments.
In 2003, Jacob became a Plant Manager at White River Beverage, where they performed daily physical inventory counts and reconciliations for a Wholesale Beer Distributor. Jacob also managed cash and check reconciliations with delivery drivers.
Following this, Jacob joined Smurfit-Stone as an Accounts Payable employee in 2006 and later moved to Memphis Biofuel in 2007, working as an Accounts Payable professional. In this role, they input and maintained data on commodity tankers, managed Accounts Payable records using Quickbooks, and handled spreadsheet models for management.
Jacob's most recent position was as a Data Manager at Ampro Industries, Incorporated, which they held since 2009. In this role, they built and maintained databases for management reports, designed and wrote reports, and provided ad hoc information for decision-making purposes.
Jacob Albers attended Christian Brothers University from 1992 to 1993, where they pursued a non-degree in Accounting. Prior to that, they attended Arkansas State University from 1987 to 1989, also pursuing a non-degree in Accounting. In terms of additional certifications, in October 2015, they obtained the Xtreme Pivot Tables (Downloadable) certification, and in May 2015, they obtained the GS1 Fundamentals Certificate from GS1 US.
