Professor Melissa Conlon

Professor Melissa Conlon's work experience includes serving as the Commercial Director AMRC North West at AMRC since 2018, where they specialize in conducting research into advanced machining, manufacturing, and materials. Prior to that, they worked as the Commercial Director at Magma Digital from 2015 to 2018, where they provided business critical software development and technical and business consultancy services. Professor Melissa also served as the Head of Enterprise at Preston's College in 2014 and as the Director of Sustain-Ability Solutions from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, they worked as the STEM Development Manager at Blackburn College from 2011 to 2014 and as an Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing Consultant at Lancashire Lifelong Learning Network from 2008 to 2011. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at UCLan, PHH Arval, and GE Capital Fleet Services.

Professor Melissa Conlon received a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Economics from Bristol University.
