Sovattha Kao

Sovattha Kao is the Head of the Information Security Department at Amret MFI since January 2018, with responsibilities including participation in the Operational Risk Committee, IT Steering Committee, and BCM Committee, while reporting directly to the CIO on matters related to Information Security and IT Security. Prior to this role, Sovattha served as the Deputy Head of Information Security at the Foreign Trade Bank of Cambodia from June 2009 to January 2018, where responsibilities included leading IT system and network infrastructure management, establishing IT policies, and overseeing datacenter operations. Sovattha began an IT career as an IT Specialist at Wilson Garment from January 2008 to June 2009. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration from Norton University, and Bachelor’s and Associate's degrees in Computer Science and Network Administration, respectively, from the same institution.
