Sean Cheng

Sean Cheng currently serves as the Head of Machine Learning at Cashmere AI since June 2024 and as a Board Advisor at AMS AI since February 2025. Cheng's prior experience includes a role as a Research Fellow at Harvard University with a focus on molecular dynamics and heat transfer in 2D materials from August 2018 to January 2025 and as a Visiting Scientist at Bolt Beranek and Newman Inc. (Raytheon) from April 2019 to February 2021. Cheng’s technical expertise encompasses large-scale simulations, CNNs, and LSTMs, as well as developing automated testing and analysis systems in Python and MATLAB. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Applied Physics from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics (magna cum laude) from Cornell University, alongside ongoing doctoral studies in Applied Physics at Harvard University.
