Darrel Ronald is a seasoned professional in data engineering, urban design, and computational design with extensive experience in both consultancy and academia. As the founder and current Data Engineer and Product Manager at Spatiomatics, Darrel developed the SIMO app for urban development, enabling effective design data collaboration. Throughout a notable career, Darrel has held significant roles such as Associate Partner at KCAP, where responsibilities included global business development and project management, and Expert Consultant for UN-Habitat in Myanmar. Darrel also contributes to education as a guest lecturer at the AMS Institute and Technische Universiteit Delft, guiding students in data engineering and urban design. With advanced degrees in architecture and an Executive MBA from IMD, Darrel combines expertise in digital transformation, business strategy, and computational workflows to support urban processes.
