Maxim Cherevko

Network Architect/Pre-sales engineer at AMS-IX

Maxim Cherevko has extensive experience in the field of IT and networking. Maxim started their career as a System Engineer at JSC UkrSat in 1999 and later became an IT Engineer. In 2003, they joined ISP NetSoft as the Head of the IT Department. Maxim then worked at "GART" in Kiev as an IT Engineer, where they were responsible for building and managing WAN and VPN networks, as well as configuring servers and managing large RAID arrays.

In 2008, Maxim joined Security Consulting s.r.o. as a Regional IT Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for IT development outsourcing, building LANs and WANs, and upgrading networks to Cisco. Maxim also handled tasks such as integrating VOIP and IPTV services, providing customer support 24/7, and managing infrastructure for multicast and unicast streams.

Since 2012, Maxim has been working at AMS-IX, starting as a Network Engineer and later advancing to the role of Senior Network Engineer. Currently, they serve as a Network Architect/Pre-sales Engineer. At AMS-IX, they have been involved in various responsibilities associated with network architecture and pre-sales engineering.

Overall, Maxim Cherevko has demonstrated expertise in network engineering, IT development, and system administration throughout their career.

Maxim Cherevko began their education at Uzhgorod Secondary School Num 8 from 1987 to 1994, where they focused on a general curriculum without specific degrees or fields of study. Following this, they attended Uzhgorod senior high school from 1994 to 1997, where they focused on mathematics. Maxim then pursued a Master's degree in Economics at Užhorods'kij Deržavnij Institut Informatiki, Ekonomiki i Prava from 1997 to 2001. Continuing their education, they obtained a Master's degree in Economics from Uzhgorod National University from 2009 to 2010. Maxim Cherevko later pursued a Ph.D. in Economics from Uzhgorod National University from 2010 to 2014.
