Mahdi Mekic

Mahdi Mekic is an experienced professional currently serving as the Full Service Foundry Director and Segment Director - Spectral Sensing at ams OSRAM since January 2022. Prior to this, Mahdi was with NXP Semiconductors for over 15 years, holding various positions including Program Director for Customer Experience, where a global program was streamlined to enhance service excellence for mass market customers, and Marketing Director roles focused on RAIN RFID and Smart Mobility Solutions. Mahdi's earlier career includes positions at Texas Instruments as a Customer Applications Engineer, and as a Lab Technician at Lamar University. Mahdi's educational background comprises a Master of Business Administration from IEDC - Bled School of Management and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Lamar University.
