Andrew Rye has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Andrew started their career as a Production Assistant/Video Assist in a freelance capacity. Andrew then moved on to FUNimation Entertainment, where they served as the Head Writer, leading a team of writers and working on the English adaptation of various Japanese anime series. After that, they joined OkraTron 5000, Inc. as an Associate Producer, specializing in localizing foreign language games into English and Japanese anime adaptation.
In 2010, Andrew joined AMS Pictures as a Scheduling Coordinator, responsible for coordinating crew and equipment for various projects. Andrew then progressed to the role of Project Manager, where they focused on client relations and managing projects from start to finish. Later, they were promoted to the position of Production Manager, overseeing the Digital Media department, facility operations, and client service team. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Video Production at AMS Pictures, managing the AMS Studios division and overseeing business development, client relations, and daily department management.
Andrew Rye obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Radio, Television & Film from the University of North Texas. Andrew attended the university from 1998 to 2001.
