Alan Amatuzio

Alan Amatuzio joined AMSOIL INC. in 1988 as a shop mechanic while attending the University of Minnesota Duluth. He soon moved into Production and worked his way into the role of Production Manager, and later Plant Manager, where he oversaw heavy investment into expanded and technologically superior manufacturing facilities.

In the late ‘90s, Amatuzio began working closely with the chemical laboratory to develop a deeper understanding of all aspects of lubrication. This led to a shift into sales and marketing as the Director of Industrial Lubricants. In 2002, Amatuzio earned his Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS) certificate from the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers, a distinction held by fewer than 2,000 people globally.

Amatuzio’s unique combination of technical and marketing expertise paired well with his diverse background at AMSOIL and he soon earned the role of Executive Vice President and COO. His ascent continued from there, serving in Co-President, President and CEO roles. In 2018, Amatuzio assumed sole ownership of AMSOIL INC. and now serves as AMSOIL Chairman and CEO.

Amatuzio holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Minnesota. He is a Certified Lubrication Specialist and received a certificate in basic management from the University of Wisconsin Madison Management Institute.
