Steve Thomas

Steve Thomas is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Research and Development Manager at Amsted Automotive since July 2018. In this role, Steve oversees all aspects of R&D Engineering for a specific product area, including design, testing, analysis, and the implementation of new technologies. Previously, Steve held the position of Sr. Product Development Engineer, focusing on powertrain advancements to enhance vehicle efficiency. Prior experience includes a tenure at Nexteer Automotive, where Steve was recognized as the youngest inductee into the Delphi Innovation Hall of Fame while serving as a Sr. Product Engineer. Steve holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
