Martino Luca Morella

Martino Luca Morella is a Biomedical Scientist and PhD Candidate at VU University Medical Center in Amsterdam, specializing in Neurobiology and Neurosciences. With experience as a Committee Member for the Junior Dutch Parkinson Scientists, Martino has contributed to the organization of national conferences and educational symposia focused on Parkinson's research. Previous roles include Junior Scientist in the RiSE Program at Roche and research internships at notable institutions such as Northwestern University and Leiden University Medical Center, where advanced techniques in live imaging, immunoprecipitation, and data analysis were utilized to investigate therapeutic targets for neurodegenerative diseases. Martino holds an academic foundation in Medical Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Milano and Biomedical Sciences from Leiden University, along with a musical background as an oboist from the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan.
