Michele Vowell

Michele Vowell is an experienced content specialist currently working at AMSURG since April 2021. Previously, Vowell served as section editor at Kentucky New Era from November 2018 to April 2021 and held the position of managing editor at Fort Campbell Courier for over a decade, where responsibilities included leading contracts, managing personnel, and undertaking award-winning reporting and photography. Vowell began a career in journalism at Kentucky New Era as features editor, showcasing skills in feature writing, photography, and page design, and also worked as news editor at Crittenden Press. Vowell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in print journalism from Murray State University, achieved in 1993, and graduated from Daviess County High School in 1989.
