Darius Thompson

Darius Thompson has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Darius is currently employed at Amtrak as a Lead Recruiter, responsible for strengthening the Amtrak Human Capital Workforce Analytics Center of Excellence. Prior to their current role, they served as a Lead Workforce Analytics Analyst at Amtrak, where they collected and reviewed workforce analytics and supported the implementation of Human Capital Programs.

Before joining Amtrak, Darius held the position of Managing Director of the Exeter Holiday Parade and Committee. Darius also served as a Talent Acquisition Support Manager at the American Red Cross, where they ensured compliance with EEO and OFCCP requirements and provided support to the Talent Acquisition team.

Darius previously worked at Raytheon as a Senior Recruiter, and at Microtech Consultants/Longo Associates as a Sr. Recruiter. Darius also served as the Director of Placement & Corporate Relations at the Whittemore School - UNH, where they provided internship and job placement assistance for students and alumni.

At the beginning of their career, Darius worked as an Office Manager at Delta International. Throughout their career, Darius has gained 14 years of experience in the direct placement industry, completing search assignments for various industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, retail, finance, and telecommunications.

Darius Thompson attended several institutions for their education. Darius participated in an Emerging Leadership Program at UMass Boston in 2006. From 2003 to 2005, they attended the University of New Hampshire but did not pursue a degree or specify a field of study. Darius obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Plymouth State College between 1985 and 1993. Darius also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business & Economics from Plymouth State University from 1985 to 1988. Prior to that, they attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1983 to 1985 and Wahington & Lee from 1979 to 1983, where they did not complete any degrees or specify fields of study.
