Eamon Walsh

Eamon Walsh is an experienced government affairs professional currently serving as the Director of Government Affairs at Amtrak since January 2015, where responsibilities include implementing strategic initiatives and managing stakeholder communications. Prior experience includes working as a Legislative Staff member for Senator Heidi Heitkamp, focusing on homeland security and veteran affairs, and serving as Governance Team Lead at the U.S. Department of State, overseeing an inter-agency team in diplomatic relations. Additionally, Eamon held the position of Deputy Policy Director for the Committee on Indian Affairs in the United States Senate, where legislative strategy was a key focus.
