Margaret McDavid

Margaret McDavid serves as the Director of Quality Management at Amtrak since October 2022, where responsibilities include directing and implementing a Quality Management System for the Infrastructure Maintenance & Construction Services Department, focusing on continuous improvement in Safety, Productivity, Financials, and Customer Service. Previously, during a decade at USPS OIG, Margaret held the position of Deputy Assistant Inspector General, leading teams to enhance agency operations with a focus on logistics, transportation, and national security. Experience also includes roles at the US Government Accountability Office and House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, including Senior Policy Analyst and Professional Staff Member. Margaret holds a Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, a Master of Public Affairs from the O'Neill School, and a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College.
