Paul Cross

Paul Cross has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Paul is currently working as the Vice President of Engineering at Amtrak since June 2020. Prior to this role, they were unemployed from November 2016 to May 2020.

Before their unemployment, Paul worked as a Materials Interface Engineer at Siemens Rail Automation from July 2014 to October 2016. In this role, they were responsible for producing materials reports, compiling lists of required materials, and raising orders utilizing SAP ordering management.

From April 2011 to December 2012, Paul worked at Network Rail as a Material & Logistic Co-ordinator. Paul then worked as a Civil Enforcement Officer at NSL-TMBC from July 2010 to April 2011.

Paul also has significant experience at Jarvis, where they held multiple roles. From August 2004 to April 2010, they served as the Assistant Engineering Depot Manager, overseeing depot activities and maintenance. Before that, they worked as a Technical Support Engineer from April 1998 to August 2004, and as an S&T Installation Engineer from November 1996 to April 1998.

At the start of their career, Paul worked as an Electronic wireman/PCB assembler at Data Acquisition from September 1987 to November 1996.

Paul Cross attended Tameside College of Technology from 1985 to 1987, where they studied Microcomputer Technology and Electronic Engineering. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Longdendale High School from 1980 to 1985, specializing in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Metalwork, Art & Design.
