Gilbert Lavoie

Gilbert Lavoie began their work experience in 1987 at TD Bank Group, where they served as the Manager of FX & Capital Markets. In 1994, they moved to Societe Generale, where they worked as a Capital Markets Specialist, specializing in interest rate, credit, and weather derivatives. After 13 years, they joined Société Générale Asset Management in 2007 as a Managing Director, responsible for client relationships and business development in Canada. In 2010, Société Générale Asset Management merged with Credit Agricole Asset Management to form Amundi Asset Management, where Gilbert Lavoie continued as a Managing Director. Gilbert is currently working at Amundi Canada Inc.

Gilbert Lavoie obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Law from Université de Montréal, where they studied from 1979 to 1982. Following that, they pursued a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Finances at HEC Montréal, completing their studies from 1985 to 1987.
