Chandru Ramana

Chandru Ramana has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and research. Chandru started their career as a Student Researcher and Maverick Mentor at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where they assisted students in their academic success and conducted research on Johne's disease detection. Chandru also worked as an Anatomy Peer Tutor during this time.

In 2015, Chandru interned as an Undergraduate Student Research Intern at Mayo Clinic, where they performed Real Time-PCR to detect gene expression in Melanoma and in Grafts vs. Hosts disease.

Later in 2018, Chandru interned as a Research Scientist at Mayo Clinic, conducting experiments and performing Real Time-PCR. Chandru also worked as a T-Cell Research Associate Intern at Xcell Biosciences.

In 2019, Chandru worked at Haystack Sciences as a Research Scientist Intern, involved in DNA library production experiments. Chandru also worked as a Contract Research Associate and Research Associate in Quantitative Biology at RAPT Therapeutics, contributing to the field of biological research.

In 2021, Chandru joined Nektar Therapeutics as a Research Associate II, specializing in Bioassay and Process Development.

Currently, Chandru holds the position of Senior Research Associate at Amunix Pharmaceuticals, starting in 2022.

Chandru Ramana has a comprehensive educational background in the field of biotechnology. Chandru completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Biotechnology from the University of San Francisco from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Minnesota State University, Mankato, where they studied from 2012 to 2016.
