Brian Savage

Brian Savage is the current Non-Executive Director at Amur Minerals. Brian has also served as the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at Frontier Mining Ltd., Director Mining & Metals Group at BMO Financial Group, and Co-Founder and CEO at Sentrifuge Inc. In addition, they are the Founder and Chairman of Pioneer Management LLC.

Savage has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry. Brian has a proven track record in mineral exploration and development, project financing, and corporate management. Brian has played a pivotal role in the successful development of several mining projects in Kazakhstan, Canada, and the United States.

Under their leadership, Frontier Mining Ltd. became one of the largest gold producers in Kazakhstan. Brian also successfully negotiated the sale of the company to a consortium of Chinese investors for $2.5 billion.

Savage holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from Queen’s University and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School.

Brian Savage attended the Corporate Credit Training Program at the Bank of Montreal. Brian then went on to earn their BS in Mining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Finally, they earned their MS in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines.
