Ken Karpel, CLFP

Ken Karpel, CLFP, has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Ken began their career in the United States Navy, where they served as a Lieutenant Commander, Mission Commander, and Patrol Plane Commander for the P3-C Orion aircraft. After leaving the Navy, Ken joined AirTran Airways as a First Officer, accumulating valuable aviation experience.

In 1999, Ken transitioned to US Airways, where they continued their role as a First Officer until 2002. Following their aviation career, Ken entered the finance industry, joining Direct Capital, a Division of CIT Bank, N.A. Ken held various managerial positions, including Sales Team Leader, Senior Finance Manager, Sales Manager in the Finance Manager Training Team, Sales Manager in the Direct Acquisition Channel, and AVP of Professional Development.

In 2017, Ken joined Beacon Funding as the Senior Vice President of Sales. In this role, they successfully led the sales team. Presently, Ken holds the position of Senior Vice President of Sales - East and Retention at Amur Equipment Finance, where they play a crucial role in driving sales and maintaining client relationships.

Ken Karpel, CLFP, obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering from The University of New Mexico, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications including the Inbound Certification and Inbound Sales Certification from HubSpot in October 2016. Ken is also a CLFP (Certified Lease and Finance Professional) certified by the CLFP Foundation.
